I discovered my passion for photography in my late 40s—a journey that quickly became more than just a hobby. By day, I work as a team leader in customer success and as a product manager. By night, I step onto the stage as a semi-professional bass player in a popular Kölsch Rock band, performing music in Cologne’s dialect.

But it is through the lens that I truly compose silence into story. I am fascinated by how light bends mood, how shadows whisper, how colors breathe emotion — or how their absence can speak louder than words. Each photograph is a fragment of a tale, a small universe where brightness, contrast, and tone become characters in a narrative.

Editing RAW images is my way of sculpting feelings: a gentle glow to soften, a burst of color to ignite, or a monochrome hush to let the soul linger. For me, photography is not just about capturing what is seen, but about revealing what is felt — a dialogue between light and memory, between the world and the heart.
